Origin & Foundation:The predecessor of Shandong Changlin Machinery Group (founded in 1943) was Linshu County Agricultural Machinery Factory. It began the research and development of walking tractors in 1987. In 1991, the "Shuhe" brand was officially launched and put on the market, and the enterprise was renamed Shandong Walking Tractor Manufacturing Factory in the same year. In 1996, the restructuring was completed and Shandong Changlin Machinery Group Co., Ltd. was established, marking the start of the large‑scale expansion stage of the Shuhe brand.

Production Capacity and Product Line:It has built one of the world’s largest production bases for walking tractors, with 13 major series and 68 varieties of walking tractors, and an annual production capacity of over 350,000 units.
It is equipped with SH175–SH1125 series diesel engines, forming a complete industrial chain from engines to complete machines.
Many diesel engines (such as SH195, SH1115) took the lead in meeting Euro I emission standards, with technical indicators reaching international advanced levels.

Technical Breakthroughs: A total of 36 national patents have been applied for. The independently developed fuel-efficient direct-injection diesel engines have reached the leading domestic level. The products are suitable for paddy fields, dry land, mountainous and hilly areas, orchards, greenhouses and other scenarios. The company is an important participant in formulating domestic technical standards for walking tractors.

They are the main machinery for agricultural mechanization in developing countries, and also key products in China’s agricultural machinery subsidy catalogue.
It has long been among the top exporters of walking tractors in China and is a highly influential Chinese brand in the international agricultural machinery market.
