About hy-rib/High rib lath:
Material: Mainly stamped and formed from hot-dip galvanized cold-rolled steel sheet(or seamless steel) with a thickness of 0.3mm to 0.8mm. It features excellent toughness and corrosion resistance.
Structure:
  1. Mesh hole: Mostly honeycomb or diamond shaped, which allows cement slurry to penetrate while preventing aggregate leakage.
  2. Rib frame: Equipped with V-shaped or U-shaped three-dimensional ribs to provide lateral rigidity and resist concrete pouring pressure.
  3. Edge: Designed with hook-shaped or tongue-shaped protrusions. After pouring, it embeds into concrete to form a mechanically occluded key structure.

    Core Features & Advantages:

Permanent non-demolition, high efficiency and labor saving
As a permanent formwork, it requires no removal after concrete pouring. It eliminates procedures such as formwork dismantling, chipping and cleaning, shortening the construction period by more than 30%.
    Excellent mechanical properties
    • High lateral pressure resistance: The V-shaped ribs provide supporting strength, with a pressure bearing capacity of about 60% of traditional formwork, reducing keel support usage by 40%.
    • Firm interface bonding: The mesh structure forms a rough surface, which ensures high bonding strength between new and old concrete with great shear and tensile resistance.
    Convenient construction and strong adaptability
    • Lightweight and flexible: Its weight is only 1/10 of traditional steel formwork. It can be bent and cut freely to fit special-shaped structures such as curved surfaces and arcs.
    • Easy reinforcement installation: The porous mesh allows steel bars to pass through and bind conveniently.
Controllable quality & reduced common defects
    • Visible pouring construction: Concrete pouring condition can be directly observed through mesh holes, effectively reducing honeycombs and voids.
    • High-quality construction joints: The mechanical key joints are compact and impermeable, greatly lowering the risk of water leakage.
